The Wedding That Lasted All Weekend
Meraiah & Quan Wedding Weekend

When Meraiah first walked through L’Eau Hill back in April, she wasn’t just looking for a wedding venue. She was looking for a place where her family could settle in, slow down, and celebrate together, not just for a day, but for a whole weekend.
That clarity stayed with me.
Labor Day weekend arrived, and so did Meraiah and Quan, filling the house with their children, their family, their people. Saturday held the ceremony, draped simply but beautifully, the sound of a violin carrying through the room. It wasn’t heavy with florals or layers of decor, but it was full of presence. Full of exactly what they had set out to prioritize.
And then Sunday came, and they didn’t rush out. They didn’t pack up and leave the moment the vows were over. They lingered. They let the house work the way it was designed to…poolside laughter, kids in the water, family around food and music, time stretching the way it rarely does on a wedding weekend.
It reminded me that weddings don’t all have to look the same. Some couples want the grandeur, the elaborate detail, the artistry of design and there is beauty in that. But others, like Meraiah and Quan, choose to spend their investment on time. On space. On letting their people stay close and unhurried.
And that too, is a kind of luxury.
